- Concert Programmes Project Online Database
The Concert Programmes Project Online Database (Phase 1) has been launched at the culmination of a three-year project to document the programme holdings of major libraries, archives and museums in selected regional centres throughout the UK and Ireland. The database currently offers descriptions of some 5,500 collections of music-related performance ephemera held by 53 institutions, including the British Library, the Royal College of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, the national libraries of Scotland and Ireland, the Bodleian Library and Trinity College, Dublin.

FARNE (Folk Archive Resource North East) is an exciting and innovative two year project bringing Northumbrian folk music to people's homes across the world. Supported by the New Opportunities Fund, FARNE is creating a new folk music archive on the Internet. Material including music manuscripts, songs, photos and sound recordings from collections across North East England will be digitised and made available on the web. From 17th century manuscripts to twentieth century sound recordings, FARNE will bring resources together and show how Northumbrian music has developed over time.
The final FARNE archive will be launched in late 2003. The FARNE team will be spending eighteen months creating content for the site and alerting you to all things weird and wonderful as they are unearthed...
